T-Ball
T-BALL DIVISION - 6U
Boys and girls aged 4-6 learn hitting and fielding fundamentals in a supportive team environment. Young kids learn to hit a baseball from a batting tee which is height-adjusted for a level swing, batting in order through the line-up, every inning, for the entire game. Games are not scored and are meant to be fun, learning experiences. Parents are welcome to participate on the field if children need extra support, with the goal of children working towards more comfort and independence as the season progresses.
2026 T-BALL SEASON OVERVIEW
Season runs April 13 through early June (8 weeks).
No practices or games the week of April Vacation or on weekends.
SCHEDULE
Teams will have a total of 2 practices and/or games per week.
Practices and games occur on:
Mondays-Thursdays between the hours of 5:30 and 7:30.
Practices and games average about 40 minutes in length.
Please reach out to our Tball coordinator upon registration if you have specific scheduling requests.
We will do our best to accommodate when making the teams.
Families are encouraged to attend both practices/games.
GAMES & LOCATION
All games are held at the T-Ball field on School Street in the center of town.
Games and practices are weather dependent.
We typically do not practice in heavy rain or if the field is in very poor condition from rain earlier in the day.
If cancelled due to inclement weather, there is no make up practice or game scheduled.
TEAMS
Teams are formed by the league and balanced by age.
Special requests for teammates or coaches are accepted but not guaranteed.
Please make these requests to our Tball coordinator at the time of registration.
We expect about 8 teams with up to 8 players each.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Players must be 4 years old by May 1st of the current season.
Players in first grade typically are encouraged to play at the Baseball Rookie division or Softball 8U division.
However, if you feel your first grader would be better suited at the tball level, we do allow for those circumstances.
Contact the league for approval and a special registration link if this applies.
